Heat exchangers are used to bring in fresh air with minimal thermal energy (temperature) loss. Heats or cools exterior air brought inside. Most effective in extreme hot or cold climates. Other types of heat exchangers are used to pre heat water in restaurants, hotels, homes, spas and industrial processes. Heat exchangers are simple, reliable and mostly maintenance free. |

Solar panels collect and convert sunlight to electricity. Store power in solar batteries or use 12v lighting or pumps directly. Supplies 12 or 24vdc. 120 or 240vac with inverters. Provides continuous or back-up power and protection against brownouts. Reverses utility meter with grid tie in. Can provide lighting in commercial buildings or homes during daytime hours without expensive battery storage. A totally silent renewable energy system. |

Now newer wind generators provide electricity for every day use. Common for off grid, grid tie in and for providing electricity in remote areas. |

Pelt on turbine for hydro power used in rivers or streams to generate electricity. Works best with high head pressure. Available in many sizes to suit power requirements. Can be part of a power system or used alone. |
packaged systems

Solar heating, solar hot water and solar cooling in one package. Works on the principals of ammonia evaporation cycle. Similar in design to early commercial air conditioning units. No compressors make this system quiet and vibration free. (Recommended for commercial applications and large residences). |
thermal storage

Thermal storage design for 2000 square foot residence in Scottsdale, Arizona. Designed to use off peak grid power to generate ice for cooling during summertime temperatures of 90°F to 120°F. System reverses in winter to store hot water. This system will also work in high humidity areas. |
gray water recycle

Plants prefer gray water rather than the chlorinated (chemical) content of standard tap water. Gray water can also be used in ponds after a reed and rock filter cycle. Gray water works in toilet flushing applications. Outdoor irrigation systems can be gravity feed or pump supplied. (Water hyacinths thrive on sewage.) |

Daytime and night time cooling also called non compressor cooling is a simple system that draws in cooler outside air for pre cooling a home or building during night time hours. Only a fan or blower is used controlled by simple thermostats placed in selected locations. A reverse system can also be used for daytime heating requirements. |
