| Primary Benefit vs.. Our high efficiency UV Air Balance is a stand alone unit designed for use offices, retail, medical, especially smoking bars and restaurants and large homes,. And other interior spaces requiring air treatment and filtration. The UV Air Balance uses a minimum of 6 inches, 152mm depth of air filters. Filters can be individually selected for the environment being treated. Our 24 x 24 inch, 610 x 610mm filter compartment is a standard industry size so specialty or proprietary filters are not required. Smaller units use 12 x 24 inch, 305 x 610mm filters. Standard is our 20/ 80 smoke smog filter combo. A 30/ 90 is for higher air purity requirements. |

Standard filters in air conditioning or heating systems only remove about 10% of particulates. Any air filters (1 inch thick or less) are high resistance filters, as they plug up fast and have a small square foot media (collecting) area. Changing to a more "efficient filter" say 2 to 4 inch deep with high pleat count is the only method of increasing air flow in an air handler without increasing power usage. Keeping air resistance low, under 1" water column (wc) is always recommended. Multiple enclosed UV lights kill viruses, bacteria ie: Legionnaire's disease, common cold or flu and neutralize most volatile organic compounds (VOC's) not trapped in the filters. For extreme VOC's we recommend a carbon filter. HEPA filters are not recommended for most applications as they are highly flow restrictive requiring much higher power use. Electrostatic filters are only effective if cleaned weekly. Electronic filters only work on smaller particles and also need regular maintenance. HEPA filters are primarily for clean room (manufacturing) and medical or biological applications. |

Summer + Winter..With the top air vent at a 90° angle indoor air is moved 40 to 70 feet or more across an interior air space providing a breeze for summertime use. This will reduce the need for more air conditioning when warm, providing a utility savings. This also grabs polluted air at the far end of a space. In the winter the user can remove or redirect the elbow allowing to be directed at the ceiling helping to re circulate stratified warm air. A UV Air Balance filter and treatment system also can be built into closets or mechanical rooms allowing an invisible air cleaning system to be in use without taking up any room space. Scientific Data ..Fresh air is produced in several ways. First, by wind replacing old air with new. Second, by rain washing the air clean. Third, by the sun's UV rays killing bacteria etc. Our UV Air Cleaner/ Filter System uses two of three of nature's method. UV rays and air movement (wind). Normal window glass blocks most ultraviolet rays so rarely does enough natural sunlight come through your windows to disinfect the inside air. All types of microorganisms, including bacteria, mold spores, yeast, protozoa, algae and viruses are easily removed by the UV Air Cleaner/ Filter System. Microbes are tiny living cells, about 1/25000 of an inch in size (invisible to the human eye). They reproduce by cell division every twenty minutes. This is a continuous cycle and, if left unchecked one bacteria cell would multiply into several billion (5,000,000,000) in less than twelve hours. By removing and/or controlling microorganisms with the UV Air Cleaner/ Filter System transfer of live bacteria from one space to another can be prevented. The UV Air Cleaner/ Filter System will sterilize human, animal and most chemical odors including filtering out dust and dirt. |
